Bally's Black Hawk is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to manage the Security Department on the assigned shift across three Bally's Black Hawk casinos. The role emphasizes compliance with Colorado gaming regulations, internal controls, and house policies while maintaining top-tier guest service.

Responsibilities include leading officers, coordinating with the Manager on Duty, and ensuring safety and policy adherence throughout gaming and non-gaming operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
• Experience in security operations and management in casino environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, internal control procedures governing gaming in Colorado.
• Must be willing to work any day and any shift.
• Colorado Division of Gaming Support license required.

Job description

The Security Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing the Security Department on assigned shift. Oversees all security operations at each of the three Bally's Black Hawk retail licensed casinos, placing special emphasis on compliance with federal and state law, Colorado Division of Gaming Regulations and Internal Control Minimum Procedures, and house policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Leads security officers on shift.
• Oversees all casino security operations including gaming and non-gaming aspects.
• Acts as the representative of the Security Director in relations with guests and other team members.
• Motivates, guides, and supports team members in the proper discharge of their duties.
• Ensures all team members adhere to company policies as delineated in the Team Member Handbook.
• Assures highest standards of guest service are met at all times.
• Displays a thorough knowledge of all laws, regulations, Internal Control Procedures, and company policies.
• Remains aware of all aspects of casino operations and attentive to any area that might need intervention or assistance.
• In coordination with the Manager on Duty, responds to, and resolves, any guest issues including violations of law or regulation.
• In coordination with the Manager on Duty, responds to, and resolves, any guest issues relating to any failure or any perceived failure to deliver premium customer service.
• In coordination with the Manager on Duty, provides or arranges for assistance to any team member in any department who may need it.
• Remains knowledgeable about all company marketing and promotional efforts and communicates the pertinent information to guests.
• Enthusiastically interacts with guests to enhance their experience.
• Solicits feedback from guests and team members.

Qualifications:

• Is knowledgeable pertaining to keys accessed from Lock Box 1 level key boxes, Security key boxes, Non- Restricted Duplicate key boxes and property key box.
• Aware of procedures for accessing the Restricted Duplicate Key Box with the Manager on Duty.
• Assures that proper access and use is observed when providing dual access to Lock Box 1 level boxes, Non-Restricted Duplicate key boxes and property key boxes.
• Good working knowledge of slots and table games.
• Familiarity with marketing promotions, Food and Beverage operations, and other casino support functions.
• High degree of knowledge of the laws, regulations, and Internal Control Minimum Procedures governing the conduct of limited gaming in the State of Colorado.
• Must possess excellent communication and guest relations skills.
• Must be experienced and skilled in conflict resolution, leadership, and relations with outside agencies.
• Must exert influence to maintain a pleasant, fun, and enjoyable environment for all guests.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Must present a well-groomed professional appearance.
• High school graduate or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
• A minimum of two years' experience in progressively more responsible positions in security operations and management with casino operation experience preferred.
• A Colorado Division of Gaming Support license is required for this position.
