Qualifications

• Must be able to complete and maintain the background check and licensing process required by the Delaware Lottery.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Directing and delegating responsibilities to Security Shift Supervisors, Senior Security Officers, and Security Officers.
• Conducting interviews and evaluating security staff.
• Overseeing staff development, motivation, and training.
• Recommends documents and issues discipline.
• Reviewing and submitting all shift paperwork.
• Communicates all policy and procedure changes, special events, and other activities to security personnel.
• Efficient scheduling of security personnel as required.
• Developing, implementing, and ensuring maintenance of a system that complies with Company and Departmental Procedures, Internal Controls, VLEU, and Delaware State Racing Commission Regulations.
• Positive interactions with VLEU, Local Law Enforcement Agencies and Delaware State Racing Commission.
• Promotes outstanding interdepartmental and customer relations.
• Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
