Job Description

• Hire, train, motivate, evaluate, and manage employees to ensure proper staffing and that staff have the resources to meet department objectives.
• Understand department goals, standards, guidelines, and budget to ensure effective supervision.
• Establish and maintain training procedures to achieve high guest service standards.
• Resolve guest complaints and ensure excellent guest service at all times.
• Coordinate transportation for "for cause" drug/alcohol testing as needed.
• Support other departments to ensure proper procedures for Games, Slots, Cashiers, drops, etc., are followed.
• Ensure proper arrest procedures and detainment techniques are used in law violations.
• Follow all company and departmental procedures; cooperate with local, state, and federal authorities during investigations.
• Stay informed about local criminal activity to protect assets, guests, and staff; maintain communication with law enforcement and security personnel.
• Assist management during sensitive or dangerous situations involving terminations, thefts, or issues with guests or staff.
• Act as On-Scene Leader in emergencies (fire, flood, bomb threat, etc.) to ensure safety.
• Keep updated on criminal and civil laws relevant to Belterra; conduct investigations when necessary.
• Prepare, review, and complete reports on security incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
• At least one (1) year of supervisory experience.

Basic knowledge of Indiana civil and criminal laws and Indiana Gaming Commission regulations.
