Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Engineering Technical Analyst to support engineering projects onsite in Milford, MI. The role focuses on obtaining blueprints, inspecting hardware, and compiling data to assist engineering teams in overcoming roadblocks.

Responsibilities include analyzing drawings, coordinating technical reviews, and documenting actions. Requires a bachelor’s in engineering/related field and 5–7 years’ experience including auto mechanic/ technician background.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, CS or related field.
  • 5–7 years experience, including auto mechanic/technician background.
  • Identify relevant drawings, layouts, and graphics to investigate issues.
  • Understand vehicle architecture, packaging, and dynamic interactions of components.
  • Create, file, and retrieve information from electronic databases.
  • Knowledge of data processing techniques and software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
  • Develop work plans with required information, data, and drawings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently and with a team.
  • Utilize new information/processes to resolve issues.

  • Compile cost or performance comparison data.
  • Convert data into standard specification formats and documents.
  • Identify data, analysis method, and report format for issues or solutions.
  • Participate in design and implementation of action plans.
  • Identify ways to improve Vehicle Development Process implementation.

Job description

Job Title: Engineering Technical Analyst

Location: Milford, MI (Onsite)

Contract Duration - 12 Months

Pay Rate: $23/hr - $26/hr

Role Overview

The main function of an engineering tech analyst is to provide technical support on various engineering projects and assignments. This role is responsible for obtaining blueprints, inspecting hardware, tracking project updates, compiling data, and assisting engineering teams to overcome project roadblocks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain blueprints, math data, PDMs, and other graphical information with various levels of direction.
  • Inspect and compare physical hardware such as parts, vehicles, and mockup bucks to graphical information, noting discrepancies and potential root causes.
  • Obtain specific data from available databases, sort or organize it by designated characteristics, and report required information in specified formats.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical reviews of outlined issues, drawings, parts, or vehicles.
  • Document technical discussions, action plans, and assignments.
  • Monitor and report the status of projects and assignments.
  • Compile cost comparison data or performance comparison data.
  • Compile data and convert it into standard specification formats and documents.
  • Identify the data, analysis method, and report format required to present and explain an issue, phenomenon, or potential solution.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of action plans.
  • Identify ways to improve the implementation of the Vehicle Development Process.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience is required, including experience as an auto mechanic or technician.
  • Technical Skills:Ability to identify relevant drawings, layouts, and graphic illustrations to investigate issues.
  • Understanding of vehicle architecture and function, including packaging and dynamic interactions of components.
  • Ability to create, file data, and retrieve information from electronic databases.
  • Knowledge of data processing techniques, methods, software, and their application.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to develop work plans, including the identification and retrieval of necessary information, data, and drawings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to utilize existing or new information and processes to resolve issues.
