Job summary

Amazon Leo Security is seeking a security leader to oversee the security of our satellite broadband platform. You will collaborate with business leaders to define priorities, act as a trusted advisor to product teams, and drive security across development and operations.

The role requires crafting secure-by-default solutions, guiding engineers, and proposing innovative testing and detection mechanisms to protect customer data and system integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years delivering security software in production environments.
• 3+ years developing distributed software systems (Java, Rust, Go, or C/C++).
• 3+ years working with cloud-native environments.
• Experience with PKI, HSMs, Encryption, Cryptography, Key Management or Secure Device Provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to define security priorities and act as a trusted advisor.
• Support product leaders by providing security direction and measuring execution.
• Guide teams toward secure-by-default solutions and advocate for new testing tools and detection mechanisms.
• Propose a security vision that protects customer data and enables the business.
