Job summary

Unifi is seeking a Security Screener Supervisor for a part-time role in Rapid City, SD. You will oversee provisioning and access control for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring proper authorization and secure entry.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain credentials per airport/state requirements. Rotating A.M./P.M. shifts and outdoor work are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain credentials as per airport/state/customs requirements.
• Licensed Security Guard Card (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, including scheduling assignments and overseeing employee performance.
• Oversee daily screening and access control operations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure secure facility entry.
• Supervise, schedule, and evaluate screening personnel; provide ongoing training and enforce compliance with security and appearance standards.
• Conduct and monitor security inspections, including ID verification, bag checks, body scans, and ETD screenings.
• Respond to and document security incidents, alarms, and emergencies with management.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily operations, incidents, and inspections for compliance and performance tracking.
• Perform duties safely and in line with company standards; report incidents and hazards.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of provisioning and access control management for all individuals, including employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors-accessing client facilities. Ensures proper authorization and secure entry into buildings.

Job Duties

• Manage daily site operations, including scheduling assignments and overseeing employee performance.
• Oversee daily screening and access control operations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure secure facility entry.
• Supervise, schedule, and evaluate screening personnel; provide ongoing training and enforce compliance with security and appearance standards.
• Conduct and monitor security inspections, including ID verification, bag checks, body scans, and ETD screenings.
• Respond to and document security incidents, alarms, and emergencies while maintaining clear communication with management.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily operations, incidents, and inspections to support security compliance and performance tracking.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and, capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.

Security License Requirements

• Licensed Security Guard Card (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.

Physical requirements

• Must be able to constantly lift, move up, push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

Working conditions

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
