Job summary

Unifi Security is seeking individuals to join our growing team in Austin, TX, to oversee provisioning and access control for all individuals accessing client facilities. You will ensure proper authorization and secure entry into buildings while joining a team that values integrity and empathy.

Paid training is provided for all new employees, with flight privileges offered after 30 days for employees and eligible family members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is a minimum requirement.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Must have valid Security Guard Card.

Responsibilities

• Access Control & Screening, including inspection of identifications, vehicle decals, and screening visitors, couriers, and contractors before entry.
• Conduct random security inspections to employee body scans, bag checks, and ETD screenings.
• Patrol premises, respond to security-related inquiries, and document concerns from tenants, employees, and the public.
• Prepare clear and concise reports on security incidents and daily activities.
• Report security incidents and document criminal or suspicious activities, notifying management of incidents and emergencies.
• Respond to building emergency alarms, including fire, elevator entrapments, and intercom alerts.
• Management and communication via radios and other security-related equipment.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and capabilities expected for this position.

Job Summary

Physical requirements

• Must be able to constantly lift, move up, push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

Working conditions

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
