Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facilities services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Screening Control in Rialto, CA to protect clients across industries by screening people, packages, and vehicles and by maintaining a visible, professional presence on site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures and applicable site requirements.
• Verify identification, access credentials, shipping documentation, and/or visitor authorization before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Monitor screening points and access areas for unusual activity, prohibited items, or policy violations; report observations through established reporting channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter as directed.
