Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Personnel Screening in Ontario, CA to protect clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will screen personnel and visitors, monitor access points, document activity, and report security concerns while maintaining a professional, friendly presence.

The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a valid CA driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering designated logistics and distribution areas according to site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and logs of visitors, vehicles, and screening activity.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns calmly and notify appropriate contacts or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access.

Pay Rate: $21.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with site policies and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and maintain accurate logs of visitors, vehicles, and screening activity.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, loading zones, business operations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
