Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Checkpoint Screening in Ontario, CA. You will screen people, packages, and vehicles, monitor access points, and report concerns, while delivering outstanding customer service in a collaborative environment.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and a commitment to safety, professionalism, and community trust.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license required in the state of the job.
Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or property entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections as directed, reporting prohibited items, irregularities, and security-related concerns to site leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document relevant observations and actions.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
