Koorsen Fire and Security is seeking experienced Security System Sales professionals in the Dayton, OH area to join our leading team. The role focuses on selling intrusion, video surveillance, access control, intercom, and monitoring solutions while building trusted relationships with customers and contractors.

The position offers base salary with uncapped commissions, plus an average commission of $30,000+.

Qualifications

• 4-8 yrs of previous sales experience in security systems, access control and intrusion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote all Koorsen Security products and systems, including Intrusion, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intercom, and Monitoring
• Work with Engineering and Operations to develop quotes
• Build and maintain relationships with branch customers, contractors, and end-user customers
• Identify security system upgrades, moves, adds, and changes
• Cold call facilities for new customer relationships
• Coordinate system demos for prospective contractors and customers
• Maintain pipeline data in Ignite – Sales Tracker
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers
• Adhere to safety regulations and Koorsen policies
• Open to continual learning and development

SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $105,000 (Base + commissions) W/ UNCAPPED COMMISSION

AVERAGE COMMISSION $30,000+

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote all Koorsen Security products and systems, including Intrusion, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intercom, and Monitoring


• Work with Engineering and Operations to develop quotes.


• Build and maintain trusted relationships with current branch customers, Electrical and General Contractors, and end-user customers.


• Identify Security system upgrades, moves, adds, and change opportunities.


• Cold call facilities for new customer relationships


• Coordinate system demos for prospective contractors and customers about our products.


• Maintain pipeline data in Ignite – Sales Tracker


• Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner.


• Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices.


• Open-minded willingness for continual learning


• Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values.


• Any other duties deemed appropriate by management.

Required

• 4-8 yrs. of Previous sales experience: Security Systems, Access Control and Intrusion


• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.


• Valid driver’s license


• Pass drug and background screenings.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


• Basic understanding of IT functionality

Physical Demands

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.


• Must be able to perform some repetitive motions while using a computer.


• Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises


• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
