Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess one or more of the following: military/law enforcement related background or education as listed.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies; assist with emergency response when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; environment may vary by client site.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies

Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service

8+ years of military service
