Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Charlotte, NC to safeguard clients across Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. You will help maintain safety by following site-specific policies, delivering strong customer service, and responding to incidents with calm problem-solving.

Minimum requirements include being 18+ (21+ for armed), HS diploma or 5 years verifiable experience; background check and drug screen; valid driver's license for driving posts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check conducted in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; a valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; environments may vary by client site.
