Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and two years supervisory experience
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Supervise senior officers, security guards, safety officer and drivers.
• Manage center security including safety, fire protection, security, and transportation in line with directives.
• Perform security duties to protect life and property on assigned shifts.
• Ensure physical security of buildings, center vehicles, and property by checking doors, lights, equipment and locks.
• Provide fire protection; conduct fire drills and inspections.
• Advise and train security officers in security procedures.
• Assist in transporting students and reporting and suppressing fires.
• Coordinate with center staff on security matters and conduct security investigations.
• Act as liaison with neighboring law enforcement and fire agencies.
• Assure accountability of students, staff, and visitors by scheduling coverage.
