Job summary

SAMMinistries seeks a Safety and Security Officer (Level II) to support day‑to‑day safety and security operations across facilities, staff, clients, visitors and property. You will maintain a visible security presence, perform routine patrols and safety checks, monitor CCTV and access controls, and respond to incidents under the Manager of Safety and Security.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, security experience preferred, valid Texas driver’s license, First Aid certification, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; security experience preferred.
• Texas driver’s license and First Aid certification required or obtainable.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, alarms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence across facilities.
• Patrol buildings, grounds, entrances and exits regularly.
• Monitor CCTV and alarms; respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Follow emergency procedures and involve law enforcement when needed.
