Job summary

Responsibilities include scheduling and training the Security Department, preparing investigations reports, assisting with emergency planning, and auditing security processes to ensure safety policies are maintained.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in managing a safety and security department.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills; critical thinking to review and solve issues.
• Self-directed, able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously; ability to work under pressure.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety and security of all CFBNJ assets, equipment, personnel, and visitors.
• Manage security protocols related to storage of confidential information and documents.
• Maintain a positive work attitude and interpersonal relations with customers, co-workers and managers.
• Ensure facilities comply with local, state, federal, and Feeding America food safety requirements.
• Annually review and audit all security processes and procedures.
