Job summary

Community FoodBank of New Jersey is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee distribution center operations. You will lead teams to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and drive operational excellence across logistics and inventory management.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of leadership experience, a relevant degree, and a passion for CFBNJ’s mission of providing food and support to communities in need.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing large-scale distribution or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience in food distribution or logistics environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop distribution center managers and teams.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and service levels.
