As a Security Officer Residential Gatehouse Officerin San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will help manage access, report observations, and communicate professionally while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or property staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common areas, leasing spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, document observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency responders.
• Help maintain a professional presence throughout the residential community while supporting a welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
