Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a self-starting Security Researcher to join the Counter Adversary Operations Team. You will track Latam-language eCrime actors across diverse environments, including the deep and dark web, and provide unique insights for finished intelligence products used by CrowdStrike customers.

The role demands OPSEC-savvy, detail-oriented problem solving with the ability to manage concurrent tasks and deliver results with minimal direction.

Qualifications

• Language capabilities including Spanish and Portuguese.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Experience navigating a wide variety of cyber threat actor environments, including social media, hidden services, and forums.
• Familiarity with eCrime groups and Latam-language threat actors.
• Practical knowledge of technical terminology, tools, and tactics used by Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Collect actionable information to answer established and ad hoc requirements related to Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Leverage OSINT tradecraft to follow leads and track actors in online communities.
• Identify cyber threats and trends concerning Latam-language actors with technical details.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to produce threat estimates related to eCrime topics.
• Employ secure operational tradecraft methods in daily activities.
