Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a self-starting Security Researcher to join the Counter Adversary Operations Team. You will track Latam-language eCrime actors, collect actionable intel across diverse environments, including the deep web, and provide insights for finished intelligence products used by CrowdStrike customers.

The ideal candidate is OPSEC-savvy, detail-oriented, and capable of driving multiple projects to completion with minimal direction.

Qualifications

• Language capabilities including Spanish and Portuguese.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Experience navigating cyber threat actor environments, including social media, forums and hidden services.
• Familiarity with eCrime groups, especially Latam-language actors.
• Practical knowledge of terms, tools and tactics used by Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Experience using AI to enhance decision-making and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, under tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect actionable information on eCrime actors, focusing on Latam-language actors.
• Use OSINT tradecraft to identify actors and track them in online communities.
• Identify current threats and trends related to Latam-language actors.
• Collaborate with teams producing threat estimates and analytical reports.
• Apply secure operational tradecraft and practices.
