The Ladders seeks a Security Research Engineer III to join its remote security team. You will build internal tooling, automate data collection, and deploy cloud infrastructure to support threat research and malware analysis.

Collaborating with research teams, you will improve workflows, implement CI/CD pipelines, and develop IaC using Terraform and Ansible. A strong Python background is required, with Golang skills preferred.

Formación

• 4+ years of software development experience, ideally in cybersecurity.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with Golang skills preferred.
• Experience building internal tooling with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

For our client, we are seeking a Security Research Engineer III to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This remote role will focus on building the internal systems, automation, and cloud infrastructure that support security research and threat investigation. The ideal candidate will partner closely with research teams to improve data collection workflows, streamline operations, and strengthen the tooling behind malware and threat analysis. This position offers the opportunity to influence technical capabilities that enable faster, more effective security research outcomes.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $108,000 - $140,000 annually
