• Expert in Python and SQL for automation and big data management.
• Experience in log analysis and digital forensics.
• Strong communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

For our client, we are seeking a Abuse Research Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

In this remote role, you will help strengthen abuse detection and threat research capabilities across the organization’s financial systems and external intelligence sources. You will partner closely with fraud, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to turn research findings into practical defenses, better controls, and clearer guidance. This position blends proactive threat hunting, data-driven investigation, and automation to improve security posture and reduce abuse risk in a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical research skills and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $130,000 – $160,000 annually
