Overview

ITility is seeking a Security Receptionist to support our team (part-time), to execute guidance and processes related to safeguarding customer personnel and equipment within the security domain at Ft. Belvoir, VA. This position will serve as the security access point for the customer and will work to enhance the security support capabilities. The qualified candidate will monitor and work to ensure proper security access is maintained at each required location and will perform daily security checks to ensure safety. MUST BE ABLE to report to work consistently on-time, Part Time Monday-Friday work hours between either 6am-12pm or 12-6pm ET and professional dress clothes/presentation.

Responsibilities

This position will serve as the security access point for the customer and will work to enhance the security support capabilities. The candidate will monitor and work to ensure proper security access is maintained at each required location and will perform daily security checks to ensure safety.

• Monitors security access
• Serves as the primary security access point
• Detects signs of intrusion and ensures security of doors and windows
• Answers alarms and investigates disturbances
• Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises
• Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Calls police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Provides on-site support for Security Management initiatives that ensure the integrity of on-site and remote personnel
• Assists with other ad hoc related projects or assignments as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• This position requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.

Preferred Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance
