Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer in Seattle, WA. You will be the face of our facility, greeting visitors, screening guests, and providing friendly customer service at the front desk.

This part-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 11:30am–3:30pm (20 hours/week) with a competitive hourly wage of $28.56. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer matching, PTO, holidays, disability, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to learn and operate multiple security systems and software platforms.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Security or front desk experience is preferred but not required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing to pass an extensive screening process.
• Excellent phone and computer skills.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen visitors, employees, and vendors professionally.
• Monitor and operate security systems (access control, visitor management, alarms).
• Issue visitor badges and maintain sign-in/sign-out logs.
• Respond to inquiries and direct visitors appropriately.
• Monitor entrances/exits and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk area.
• Write incident reports and communicate concerns to the team.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

Responsibilities Of a Concierge Security Guard

• Greet and screen visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional, friendly manner
• Monitor and operate multiple security systems (access control, visitor management, alarm systems)
• Issue visitor badges and maintain accurate sign-in/sign-out logs
• Respond to inquiries and direct visitors appropriately
• Monitor entrances/exits and report any suspicious activity or security concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
• Follow all security protocols and emergency proceduresCustomer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications For Concierge Security Guard

• Strong customer service skills with a professional, approachable demeanor
• Ability to learn and operate multiple security systems and software platforms
• Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Prior security or front desk experience preferred, but not required
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
