Responsibilities

• Greet customers, verify valid ID (21+), and manage check-in procedures.

• Monitor entrance, lobby, and surrounding areas for any suspicious activity.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.
• Assist with visitor and vendor check-in and access.
• De-escalate disruptive situations calmly and professionally.
• Maintain logs and incident reports when needed.
• Enforce dispensary policies and state regulations.
• Support emergency procedures including evacuations or medical events.
• Collaborate with team members and management.

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet all customers, verify valid ID (21+), and manage check-in procedures.
• Ensure only authorized individuals enter the dispensary sales floor.
• Monitor entrance, lobby, and surrounding areas for any suspicious activity.
• Answer phone calls and respond to general inquiries professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.
• Assist with visitor and vendor check-in and access.
• De-escalate any disruptive situations with a calm, professional demeanor.
• Maintain detailed logs and incident reports when needed.
• Enforce all dispensary policies and state compliance regulations.
• Support emergency procedures including evacuations or medical events.
• Work collaboratively with team members and management.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in security, front desk, or customer service preferred.
• Valid NJ Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) license strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Cannabis dispensary or regulated industry experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and remain alert.
• Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
