Job summary

Instrata Technologies, LLC. is seeking an experienced Security Project Manager to lead complex electronic security projects across client sites in the Virginia and Maryland region.

You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement while coordinating with engineering, field operations, and vendors to deliver on time and within budget. You will act as the primary client liaison, building strong relationships, solving problems, and ensuring high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience managing electronic security or technology infrastructure projects.
• Track record coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion, and integrated security systems.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Experience interpreting drawings, specs, and low‑voltage designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple security projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Develop schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and procurement timelines.
• Coordinate with engineering, field ops, subs, vendors, and clients.
• Track progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and closeout activities.
• Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage expectations.
• Identify opportunities for additional services or future projects.
• Oversee labor, materials, subcontractors, and overall project profitability.
• Review costs, forecast expenses, and ensure timely invoicing and closeout.
