Job summary

Johnson Controls in Omaha, NE is seeking a Security Project Manager to lead installation and closeout of moderately complex security projects. • 5+ years of project management experience in security or new construction.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer expectations.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%+ depending on projects.
• Experience with project financial tracking and status reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex security projects with medium to high corporate priority.
• Set up local project offices, define project scope, and support methodology and execution planning.
• Identify risks, prioritize work, and coordinate resources to keep projects moving forward.
• Maintain control of schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Present project updates, cycle status, and expected results to management and customers.
• Manage vendor relationships throughout installation when required.
• Track project expenditures and installation progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed.
• Maintain financial accountability and support project forecasting using internal Johnson Controls accounting practices and AIA standards.
• Conduct worksite inspections and help ensure workmanship meets Johnson Controls quality expectations.
• Respond to customer concerns in a timely, professional manner and support effective issue resolution.
• Close projects on time and in scope, with complete documentation and clear communication.
