SUMMARY:

Seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Security Program Manager to oversee and manage comprehensive security programs at the Pentagon in various security domains, including Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC), Industrial Security (INDUSEC), Communications Security (COMSEC), Insider Threat (InT), Foreign Disclosure, Foreign Visits, Privacy, Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP), and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Develop, implement, and manage security policies, procedures, and programs across multiple security domains.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and organizational policies related to security.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate security threats.
  • Oversee the protection of classified and sensitive information, ensuring adherence to INFOSEC and SCI protocols.
  • Coordinate physical security measures to safeguard personnel, facilities, and assets.
  • Implement and monitor industrial security programs to protect against espionage and unauthorized disclosures.
  • Supervise communications security (COMSEC) measures to secure sensitive communications.
  • Facilitate foreign disclosure and foreign visit processes, ensuring compliance with international agreements and security protocols.
  • Develop and execute antiterrorism/force protection (AT/FP) strategies to protect against potential threats.
  • Ensure privacy policies are adhered to and manage privacy-related incidents.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to security teams, fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance.
  • Liaise with senior leadership, government agencies, and external partners to coordinate security efforts.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in security program management across multiple domains.
  • Bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal security regulations and standards.
  • Proven track record of managing complex security programs in a high-stakes environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level is required.
  • Must be fluent in the English language and can read, write, and comprehend Government documentation.
  • Thorough knowledge and demonstrated expertise in using basic Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in their respective jobs/positions.
  • There may be additional training required by the Government.
  • Must have a Top-Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and supervise activities for extended periods.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position is subject to both indoor office envrionments and outdoor environments with varying weather and temperatures.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:

As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
