Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Healthcare Site Patrol in Elkridge, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day TimeMon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain a secure environment for all individuals on site.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and coordinating with healthcare staff and first responders when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
