Allied Universal in San Diego is seeking a Security Professional Part Time Unarmed Site Patrol Driver. You will perform patrols by vehicle and on foot, deter security incidents, and maintain a friendly, safe environment for customers and associates at a busy retail location.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, reporting observations to site management.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and customer assistance as directed by site procedures.

What You'll Do

• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and customer assistance as directed by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
