As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Site in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we work together with integrity to create a welcoming environment for everyone on site.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
• Support emergency response activities according to established protocols for the location.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
