Job Description

As a Security Professional - CRE Site Patrol in NOTTINGHAM, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with tenants and visitors. This is primarily a driving post, so you will spend much of your time patrolling the property by vehicle. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities and provide assistance to tenants, employees, and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU driver policy requirements.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience in primarily driving posts is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
