Location: Dover, DE
Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour

The Security Professional Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients across various industries such as Healthcare, Education, and Finance. Use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim shifts based on your availability, allowing you to build a flexible schedule while gaining diverse site experience. This position may require working irregular shifts with little notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department in emergencies
• Warn violators of infractions and monitor entrances/exits
• Assist in protecting company property and ensure authorized property removal
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally
• Make emergency notifications as per site orders

Qualifications (must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle
• Background check and drug screening required
• At least 18 years old (21 if armed)
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to operate communication equipment
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to assess situations quickly and mediate conflicts

Preferred Qualifications

• Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
