As a **Security Professional - Industrial Patrol** in **Detroit, MI** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This role may involve working in environments with limited on-site facilities, such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $17.65 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or potential issues.

+ Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to site protocols.

+ Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations as directed by client policies.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Experience working in environments with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
