Job Description
As a Security Professional - Government Rounds in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .
As an unarmed patrol officer in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. This role is focused on maintaining a secure atmosphere for all individuals at the location.

Pay Rate: $20.34 / Hour

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the surroundings.
- Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.
Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must acknowledge firearms requirements as part of the role.
- Annual firearms requalification training must be completed, which can be fulfilled post hire.
- An armed designation is required for this position.
- A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
