Job Description
As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Facility in STERLING HEIGHTS, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security incidents, and maintain a visible presence. This role involves conducting routine patrols, providing excellent customer service, and communicating effectively with staff and visitors. This is an unarmed, non-driving position. We value agility, reliability, and innovation, fostering a caring culture that prioritizes people. You will collaborate with others and act with integrity to support a secure environment.

Position Details
Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and carry out security procedures according to site policies, including emergency responses.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols, deter unauthorized activity, and observe for unusual conditions.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate professionally with team members, staff, and visitors.
• Control access to restricted areas and deter unauthorized entry.
• Stay alert to hazards or suspicious activity and report findings.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver's license (if applicable).
• Comfortable using computers or tablets.
• Experience with access control or badge systems (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• State/local licensing may be required.
