Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex with clearance-eligible in Los Angeles. You will patrol assigned sites, monitor activities, and respond to incidents using a shift-pickup platform to build a flexible schedule.

You may work irregular shifts with little notice while gaining experience across healthcare, education, finance, and more. A high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience) is required, along with a background check and possible licensing depending

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; may consider qualified histories.
• Subject to drug screen where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper client procedures.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
