Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on your availability, enabling a flexible schedule while gaining diverse site experience.

Responsibilities include patrols, incident reporting, access control, and assisting customers. A high school diploma or 5 years of experience is required, plus background check and drug screening as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background investigation required in line with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Ability to operate radio/console monitoring equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially with the public and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate accidents and incidents; maintain written logs as required.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
