Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to patrol designated areas, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents. The role offers flexible shifts using our shift-pickup platform to create a personalized schedule across various sites.

You will need at least a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable security experience, plus access control and alarm panel familiarity. CPR certification and customer service skills are required; bilingual candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable security experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Nonsmoking/tobacco/nicotine facility.
• Bilingual candidates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and ensure authorized removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
