Position Type: Flex

Payrate: USD $28.00/hour

Location: Foster City, CA

Shift: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat (Day, Swing, Overnight)

Allied Universal is seeking Security Flex Officers responsible for the safety and security of facilities. They act as visible deterrents to crime, report suspicious or criminal acts, and ensure the safety of property, clients, guests, and employees.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of security experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, clean driving record, and necessary insurance.
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to complete background checks and drug screening.
• Flexible to work at multiple locations and shifts, including any time of day.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, climb stairs, and stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• CA Guard Card Security License preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort with technology such as computers, tablets, etc.
