Job description

Job Description:
We’re seeking a highly professional and technically skilled Customer Service Professional I to join our team and deliver exceptional “white-glove” service to our members. This is a remote, high-skill customer service role supporting health insurance members with their benefits, claims and eligibility questions.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-tier customer support to members, providers and other stakeholders via phone and written communication.
  • Accurately interpret and explain insurance benefits, claims payments/denials, eligibility and pre-authorization policies.
  • Assess and resolve complex service issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Process corrections and adjustments for claims and member data.
  • Maintain complete, accurate records of all customer interactions.
  • Uphold the company’s service standards and ensure member satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Must reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Utah
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months of customer service experience (call center, insurance, retail, banking, healthcare, etc.)
  • Strong PC skills; ability to work with multiple systems and dual monitors
  • Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance (preferred)
  • Ability to maintain discretion with sensitive or confidential information
  • Must have a quiet, dedicated home workspace and a hard-wired internet connection (CATV, DSL or fiber only).

Pay Range:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00 hourly.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
