Job Description

As a Security Professional - Concierge Patrol - Weekends in South San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter security-related incidents and supports a welcoming atmosphere. You will monitor access, respond to inquiries, and assist with security-related protocols, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Your role is essential in fostering a people-first culture and maintaining integrity throughout daily operations.

Pay Rate: $23.25 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any security-related incidents observed at the front desk.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and vendors to address inquiries and provide guidance regarding site protocols.
• Assist with the implementation of security-related measures to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity at the front desk area.

Minimum Requirements:

• California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
