Job summary

Twitch Security Platform is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to design, build, and operate critical services powering Twitch’s security and privacy programs. You’ll own projects end-to-end from design through deployment and runbooks, collaborating with Security, Identity, Privacy, and Infrastructure teams.

You’ll work across large-scale data, ingestion, processing, and automation, with a bias for operational excellence and reliable, secure systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years building and operating production backend services with end-to-end ownership.
• Deep fluency in Go, Java, Python or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver software projects end-to-end from design through production support.
• Partner across Security, Identity, Privacy, and Infrastructure on Twitch-wide initiatives.
• Drive observability, reliability and operational readiness for critical systems.
• Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making with data.
• Lead technical discussions and influence decisions through leadership.
