Job summary

Twitch Security Platform is hiring a Software Development Engineer II to design, build, and operate critical services and pipelines that power Twitch's security, privacy, and compliance programs. You will own projects end-to-end, from design and implementation through deployment and operational support, tackling security data ingestion, detection automation, and service authentication at scale.

This role is based in Seattle, WA (on-site) and offers the opportunity to partner with Security,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years building and operating production backend services
• Fluency in Go, Java, Python, or similar
• Hands-on AWS with IaC and production deployments
• Strong cross-team communication and data-driven decision making
• Experience leading multi-service technical projects

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end software projects from design to production support.
• Build and operate security platform services, pipelines, and tooling.
• Work across security, privacy, and data eng teams to solve problems.
• Ensure reliability and observability of critical systems.
