Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for Security Platform Engineering in a hybrid Seattle role.

You will own end-to-end programs across endpoint, email security, data encryption, network security, and compliance engineering, coordinating with Risk, Compliance, Engineering, and Business teams. You will drive OKRs/KPIs, report program health to leadership, and guide onboarding of new engineers while surfacing risks early and enabling timely decisions in a fast-evolving

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical program management experience in security, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs from scoping through delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders, risk and compliance partners, and business stakeholders.
• Experience driving cross-organizational alignment without direct authority.
• Proven ability to define, track, and report OKRs and KPIs for leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to run productive meetings.
• Comfort with ambiguity as scope evolves.
• Familiarity with security domain concepts and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management across a broad security portfolio.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional partners on security initiatives.
• Drive alignment and decision-making in forums without direct authority.
• Build and maintain program rhythms: sprint cadences, status reports, roadmaps, updates.
• Develop and maintain OKRs and KPIs across platforms for monthly leadership reviews.
• Support onboarding of new engineers with ramp plans and knowledge transfer.
• Identify risks early and bias toward resolution over escalation.
• Partner with management on team restructures and hiring coordination.
