Qualifications

• Ability to lead technical teams while balancing operational, strategic priorities.
• Experience managing cybersecurity platforms, infrastructure, or engineering functions.
• Experience leading technical teams in cybersecurity, IT, or related disciplines.
• Experience supporting enterprise security technologies and the infrastructure that enables them.
• Experience developing operational processes and support models for complex technical environments.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern enterprise tech environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, security operations, and defensive tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multiple Security Engineering & Platform teams, including supervisors, engineers, and specialists.
• Set strategic direction and roadmaps for cybersecurity platforms and engineering capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal customers, technology teams, cybersecurity teams, and stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and support their development.
• Oversee administration and optimization of enterprise security monitoring and defense platforms.
• Manage infrastructure supporting cybersecurity technologies (cloud and on‑premise).
• Drive automation through orchestration, scripting, APIs, and best practices.
• Ensure platforms are monitored and continuously improved for security and efficiency.
• Lead platform lifecycle activities: upgrades, migrations, integrations, modernization.
• Support incident response and security operations with reliable platform engineering.
• Execute security engineering projects to improve capabilities.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and technology evaluations.
• Participate in PoCs, tech assessments, and platform selection.
• Partner with Security Architecture to transition new tech into operations.
• Develop and maintain operational processes and documentation for security engineering.
• Manage team workload, priorities, budgeting, and resource allocation.
