Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Reporting in Hartford, CT to serve and safeguard clients across commercial real estate and similar environments. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $17.60 per hour, with a day/night schedule that includes multiple shifts.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check and drug screen required.
Guard card or license preferred.
18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property personnel while carrying out site‑specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following established emergency procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and maintenance-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.
