Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Reporting in Hartford, CT to serve and safeguard clients across commercial real estate and similar environments. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $17.60 per hour, with a day/night schedule that includes multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property personnel while carrying out site‑specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following established emergency procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and maintenance-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and maintenance‑related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
