Allied Universal in Hartford, CT is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Reporting to safeguard clients across commercial real estate. This unarmed officer role involves patrolling, staying visible to deter incidents, and delivering professional customer service.

You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document patrols and observations in accordance with site procedures. The position is full-time with night shifts, paying $17.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; background check and drug screen per law.
• Background- and drug-screening processes will be conducted.
• License requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner following established procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and maintenance-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal reporting requirements.
