Job summary

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to safeguard Hersheypark venues including Hersheypark, ZooAmerica, GIANT Center, Hersheypark Stadium and Hershey Theatre.

You will monitor access, screen guests, assist with crowd management, and maintain a safe environment while delivering friendly, professional service. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be friendly, upbeat, and able to interact with guests.
• Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job.
• Must have clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate safety instructions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicles and team members entering and exiting venues to ensure authorization.
• Conduct guest and team member entry screening to prevent prohibited items.
• Be familiar with an assigned section of a venue to assist guests efficiently.
• Monitor guest behavior for policy compliance.
• Assist with post-event clean-up.
• Provide a safe and friendly atmosphere to guests and team members.
• Follow safe work practices and use PPE as required.
